comments = I truly miss Mary.  We had
so much fun on the Bermuda cruise!
She entered and won the talent contest
with her beautiful singing.  She sang
"Smoke Gets In Your Eyes!"  She and I
had a great time at the Phi Beta Sigma
Fraternity dance.  Gil and Frank sat at
the tables and talked, but Mary and I
were on the dance floor "dancing the
night away!"  We knew how to have a
good time and live in the moment. God
bless you my friend, I love you so much
and I miss you too!

devoted mother and grandmother.  I
would remember her singing she has a
marvelous voice, i wish i had the voice
she had.  I give my condolence to Uncle
Gilbert, Kevin, Kelly  and the grandkids
and daughter in law. My Aunt Mary is in
a better place because this would is
hell, and she is in heaven.

comments = Dear Bro. Gilbert and
Family:

A wink of the eye, a gentle, graceful
touch, a warm smile and embrace of
acknowledgment...that is Sis. Mary
Jackson to me.  The most gentle soul,
the kindest, the sweetest, of the highest
level of devoted service to the Lord, the
most loving spirit. The epitome of what
is a fine Christian woman.

When we speak of the “communion of
saints” in our Apostles’ Creed each
Sunday, I now understand that Sis.
Mary is indeed one of the "cloud of
witnesses" as those departed believers
who have triumphed in life by their
faith:  "Therefore, since we are
surrounded by such a great cloud of
witnesses, let us throw off everything
that hinders and the sin that so easily
entangles, and let us run with
perseverance the race marked out for
us.”  Hebrews 12:1

May we all throw off “everything that
hinders…” and “run with perseverance”
as did our dearest Sis. Mary.  With love,
Sis. Susan Tapper

Poem: Author Unknown
Death is nothing at all
I have only slipped away
Into the next room
I am I,
And you are you
Whatever we were to each other
That we still are
Call me by my old familiar name
Speak to me in the easy way
Which you always used to
Put no difference in your tone
Wear no forced air of solemnity or
sorrow Laugh as we always laughed At
the little jokes we enjoyed together
Play, smile, Think of me, Pray for me
Let my name be ever The household
word it always was Let it be spoken
without effort Without the trace of a
shadow on it Life means all that it ever
meant It is the same as it ever was
There is no unbroken continuity Why
should I be out of mind Because I am
out of sight?
I am waiting for you
For an interval
Somewhere very near
Just around the corner
All is well….

know Mary, but somehow I just know
that You have her near Your side.
Please welcome her into Your Kingdom
with open arms. Put your comforting
hands around the hearts of whose
whom she left behind, and may they
know that her work here on earth is
done.  We pray she was obedient, and
You are as always merciful and
gracious, Great Redeemer.

In Jesus Name, Amen.

comments = I had the pleasure of
meeting Miss Mary in the summer of
2006,when I began working at the
Union Bethel Christian Academy.
She was the one who always brought
us our pay checks.

From the very beginning, she was an
encourager.
When I would pass her in the hall, she
encouraged me to hang in there.
She shared with me about her working
with the Girl's circle.
And she told me she once had a store
and could sew.
She had such a sweet spirit.
When I arrived at work on Monday
morning,I was very sad to hear about
her passing.
I am grateful to God for letting me meet
her.
I attended her homegoing celebration,
and it was simply Beautiful!!!
To her family ... Continue to ask  the
Lord for strength.
Be blessed.

comments = My condolences to Bro.
Gilbert and the Jackson family,

Sis. Mary was the sweetest person I
had ever met. From her infectious smile
to her angelic singing voice, she was
truly one-of-a-kind!

I got to know her when she was on the
wedding coordinators ministry while I
was planning my wedding in 2005.

I will never forget her sitting with me as I
waited to go down the aisle before my
wedding started. She rubbed my hand
to keep me calm and offered the most
precious pearls of wisdom about
marriage and being a wife. Sis. Mary
said that she liked free spirits because
she was a free spirit too!

Our loss is heaven's gain. The angels
are rejoicing as yet another voice has
been added to the heavenly choir. I
pray that her spirit lives on in those
whose lives she touched.

each other for the last time."~~ unknown

God Bless You!

Everywhere she went, she treated
everyone as if she had known them
forever.  She always presented herself
as the loving and kind person that she
was.  Gilbert and Mary was a fantastic
couple.  They were always on one
accord.  They both were always jovial
and cause everyone around them to fill
with laughter and fun.  Life as we know
it will never be the same because of the
void felt without Mary.  May her family
take joy in knowing that she is now one
of those ANGELS singing in the Angelic
Choir up in heaven.  May God continue
to give you all the strength to continue
living the life that Mary exemplified while
she was among us.  Wishing you many
blessings!!!

comments = Remembering Aunt Mary,
You can shed tears that Aunt Mary is gone or
you can smile because she
has lived.
You can close your eyes and pray that Aunt
Mary comes back or you can
open your eyes and see all she's left.
Your heart can be empty because you can't
see Aunt Mary or you can be
full of the love she shared.
You can remember Aunt Mary only that she is
gone or you can cherish her
memory and let it live on.
You can cry and close your mind, be empty
and turn your back; or you
can do what she'd want: smile, open your
eyes, love and go on.

Aunt Mary has a hypnotizing smile...Peace!

blessed by having her in our lives.  Her smile
